How well do the Tsaesci compare to the Nords, Redguards, Orcs and other Warrior based races in Tamriel?

When they tried to invade Tamriel, they got as far as the Jerall Mountains before getting stopped, starving to death or fleeing to Akavir. Some were kept alive because of their great military prowess. However, Uriel Septim V set out to conquer them later on. He won, since they didn't resist or fight back, but when they did, it was a slaughter. Most of the Imperial army, and even Uriel himself were killed like sheep. The Tsae have magic that can change the weather of Akavir and disrupt the magical connection of other magic users.

So yeah, they definitely are stronger than most of the warrior races of Tamriel.

In 2920, The Last Year of the First Era, the Potentate's son duals Remen III's son, so we get a pretty good description of the Tsaesci warrior style versus a more traditional heavily-armored knight. The Potentate describes the two different styles of fighting as "creating armor to combat swords as your people do, or creating swords to combat armor as mine do."

Probably the main difference between the Tsaesci fighting style and almost any other race in Tamriel is that they do not use shields, and seem to counter this by constantly being in motion.

"[the Potentate son's] swords seemed to be a part of him, a tail coming from his arms to match the one behind him. It was a trick of counterbalance, allowing the young serpent man to roll up into a circle and spin into the center of the ring in offensive position."

He also loses this duel, so I wouldn't say that the Tsaesci are "definitely" stronger than the other races of Tamriel or the Imperial Legion, even though the Legion was crushed when they invaded. What happened when the Legion invaded Akavir is mysterious, just as anything from Akavir is mysterious.

I wonder if any human Akaviri remain on the islands of Cathnoquey, Esrionet and Ysneslea (if it is true that the Tsaechi ate all the humans that lived on Akavir itself)
