I wasn't exactly sober when I crossed the Tundra so it made for an epic adventure. I walked the path west from Whiterun to get to the Alik'r until I felt i'd be faster to cross the plain. I ended up walking close to a giants camp site. First time i've seen a giant to I approach him. He gets up and starts waving his club in the air trying to scare me off...it worked. I left him to his business and continued on. I crossed two more giants herding mammoths who, even though I couldn't talk to them, seemed alot friendlier than the last one (or atleast more apathetic to me).
It even felt like the Tundra's the perfect spot for these giants. It's like a huge playground for them where they can chill and not be bothered by too many people. In fact, every location i've been to seems very natural. I cant wait to see what else is out there around skyrim. Bethesda did a pretty good job.
