Tundra Defense

For those of you who are unfamiliar with Wasteland Defense, you might understand the concept a bit more by reading up on the mod and watching the videos http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/38049/.

Now that Skyrim's Creation Kit has had some time to mature, I began work last night to bring my Wasteland Defense mod over to Skyrim and transitioning to Papyrus. After giving my computer shifty looks for the past eight hours, I've managed to come up with a solid and re-usable framework for Tundra Defense (Wasteland->Tundra, see what I did there?)

I hope to get a first version of it out the door next week that sports the construction system, market, basic guard patrol system, and at least 10-15 core Plans that can be constructed so that you can start getting your outposts off the ground. After that point I will begin to roll out a raiding system similar to the one found in Wasteland Defense. The end result will hopefully allow people to enjoy the same thrills they experienced playing Wasteland Defense on Fallout: New Vegas in Skyrim (hopefully with a few less glitches)

For now, I'll leave you with a few screenshots of my progress thus far, and I look forward to hearing your feedback and suggestions!

Hmm, I can't seem to get the random spawns to work properly... I've set it to 100% chance, and checked the ini and made it so that only forsworn/thalmor/dremora spawn so it's easier to see if it works or not. Played for a couple hours yet didn't see ANY groups spawn, though normal increased spawns work fine. Using the latest patcher 1.33-2 on an english version of Skyrim with Dawnguard.

Oooohhhh I've been waiting for this!

Looks really good! I didnt get into modding NV much because my pc at the time couldnt run it well but i watched the video for WD and it looks awesome! So will we be able to upgrade things like the walls? like start off with wooden walls and eventually end with stone? Will there be a player home?

You purchase plans from the market or seek them out scattered around Skyrim. Then you can construct them as you see fit.

Yes, there is a player home. Basically, you construct your own player outpost/fort. The home is just one of the many structures you can build.

So there will be plans for like wood structures or stone structures, basically options on how i want my place to look? If so that's pretty nice! What other structures will there be?

The beginning of the official trailer video where the person was building the wall reminded me alot of the hl2 mod source forts. But this looks like it will be pretty sweet, definitely going to sub this thread.
