Recently got a nice shiny new HTC Thunderbolt for an X-mas gift and i'm already underway modifying it. Added in 3 to 4 new ringtones for myself *love my predator snarl * and i'm looking to modify the icon designs + skin. Managed to find a tutorial the help me redesign the skin which goes into great length. However i'm not sure how to go about modifying the actual look of the icons.

Saw a minor video on youtube that talked about downloading 2 apps to help change the look of the icons but i'm not sure if those would work. Does anyone have experience modifying their phone with custom stuff?
