I really wanted to get into the whole vampire mindset and was gonna use frost spells, but with wall of frost being the worst of the three elements, and with blizzard the way it is, it isn't very effective, atleast not any where near as effective as using on of the other elements.
Ah well, I have destruction perked out minus rune master, so it really isn't that bad for this character, but it definitely puts a damper on my idea for a Death Knight who specializes in frost spells.
It just really svcks since Blizzard is such a potentially awesome spell in my opinion, and it being bugged the way it is is just disappointing. Same with the wall spells, I guarantee that if the wall spells worked as stated then no one would say that Destruction was underpowered, no way, no how, if they worked right they would be one of the most dangerous tools in a mage's arsenal. Like I mentioned earlier, just imagine how much damage you would be doing laying down a wall of frost, followed by a blizzard, whilst having a cloak up. Thats a potential 92 damage per second, couple that with some dual-cast ice storms and you would be putting out enough damage to make even the most well smithed weapon blush. Now think of doing that with fire, haha, 10% more damage on top of that. You would be making whole armies drop in seconds, and that's how destruction should be!
ahhh.... A man can dream.
