Ulysses needs to actually have the dreads like his card. : Fallout: New Vegas

This isn't really any kind of anger thread. But am I the only one who hopes and expects Ulysses to have the dreadlocks that his CE card has? I mean, Ulysses is literally a central piece of New Vegas's story, he should be unique in his appearance. So I'm pleading for the Developers to actually make him have the same style his card has.

I hope others share in this opinion, since I really want the Devs to see this :cryvaultboy:

I'm sure I had dreads in one of my FO3 hairpacks. So not impossible to do. I would assume that if that's what he looks like, that's what he looks like

I agree completely. To me it only adds to the sort of rebel, freedom seeking type of character I imagine he is. I can't think of a reason why they would need to change it either.

It's not that I worry it's not possible, the engines design is only limited by the artists creativity. My worry is that he won't look like his card, kind of like how Elijah looks more clean than his Dead Money screen photo.

Yeah, it would be nice for him to have the dreads and not just share the same 15 or so hair styles that seem to be all the rage in the Mojave. I honestly hope they do not change much about his design in general that you see on the card. I hope they stick to his look on the card pretty closely.

I agree, he has an absolutely badass and iconic look going for him. Changing anything of that would just damped it too much.

Hoping? Yes. Expecting? No. A lot of characters in game don't entirely match their card versions. Inculta is blond, Jules is white, Caesar has a hooked nose...and hell, they didn't even attempt to make Elijah's model look anything like his in-game portrait.

Elijah's appearance confused me, all that was required was a blast back hairstyle and no-one would have cared.

This got me to thinking how cool would it be to have Ice T make an npc appearence. Like a local tribal/gang leader or a tough mercenary/merchant boss.

I totally forgot about that! I was VERY disappointed when I met Elijah, he looked so much dirtier and....awesome. His dead money screen was basically the photo he used for his Facebook page, which is to say, makes him look better than he actually is.

The Burned Man has a unique appearance. Dog and Christine had unique appearances. Elijah was likely never focused on because the time you actually see him in person is so brief. Ulysses is the main focus of that DLC.
