** Imperial Legion Spoiler***




Hi, I recently started the quest ''The battle for fort Kastav'' with the imperial legion. I was told to infiltrate the stormcloak fort and release any prisonners. All went well until I had to exit the dongeon. My game instantly crashes as soon as I try to exit no matter what door I use. I tried uninstalling every mod I have, saved then reloaded. Same issue.

Did this happen to anybody else? I'm really looking forward to fix this since this is REALLY game breaking knowning I can't get any further in the imperial legion.. Please help!

Does the same thing happen if you try to use the COC command to get out? It may break the quest you're on (haven't done any Civil War quests myself, so I'm not sure how they work), but what happens if you try COCing to somewhere like Riverwood? (Open the console and type "coc Riverwood," without quotes, or whatever cell you'd prefer to go to; you can look up specific cell names on the UESPwiki.) It may be that the Fort Kastav exterior cell has been corrupted, and while you may not be able to enter it, you can still go somewhere else in the gameworld.

Also: what mods were you using? Do you have a load order you can post? With the current state of Skyrim modding, mods may leave behind scripts and other detritus in a save that could still be causing an issue for you, in which case you may need to take this to the modding forum.

What happens if you wait within Fort Kastav (or another cell away from the Kastav exterior, if you can indeed COC out) for 72 hrs / 30 days? That should reset any corrupt spawns in that cell if that is indeed your problem.

Wow, the COC command actually worked. Ported me right out and I could then finish my quest. Thanks alot !!
