I've been playing through The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim on PC and have progressed quite far through the game. Towards the end of playing through the nightingale quest "Darkness Returns", I've encountered a glitch. I all of a sudden am unable to talk to any character which I am required to talk to for any quest. My objective marker hovers over them but there is no option to talk to them. It's somewhat frustrating seeing that it's literally impossible to do complete anymore quests at this point. I've tried searching for an answer, view integrity game cache and uninstall/reinstall yet no avail. How is it that I can fix this glitch and start having fun with the game again?
