I'd love a good mod that fleshes out unarmed combat. Ideally, it would be one that I would always load for any character type, but I'd settle for one that does good just for a monk-style character.

The contenders seem to be:
http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/13281 - looks pretty good, but replaces the speech tree, and some of the magic or other effects (arrows) don't appeal to me
http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/4822 - looks interesting, but not entirely fleshed out, ties unarmed into 1H which isn't ideal, and may conflict with other mods
http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/17201 - SKSE mod, damage scales with 1H, doesn't mess with perks
http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/16010 (Unarmed Combat Overhaul) - Script Dragon, ties unarmed to1H with new perks

...and there are a few others that have very few hits or have not been updated for a long time.

Has anybody used any of these? Any opinions?

Does Deadly Combat have some Unarmed stuff like disarming? And Duke Patrick has a combat mod but I havnt check on that in a while so I dont know if he touches Unarmed combat.

Theres also SkyRe, which I use and endorse, but its kind of a whole game balancing thing which you might not want. I cant remember seeing any mod thats specifically for Unarmed stuff, but Ive never really looked for one either lol.

I love Duke Patrick's and feel nearly the same way about Deadly Combat, but neither really does much for unarmed. Actually Duke's has been having problems with unarmed, because it hasn't been a big focus.

SKyRe looks really cool, and I've almost installed it before, but I'd have to give up too many other mods for it. Anyway, I'd bet that it doesn't do much for Unarmed. I'm hoping there's a decent mod to do to Unarmed what Duke's and Deadly Combat do for melee and archery.
