Apparently on July 30th, an unarmed homeless man was shot by a police officer in Santa Ana... Got an email about this recently and hadn't looked too much into it though mainly because of my slow internet connection but apparently the police shot him because he was being too "combative"...

What are your thoughts?

There are tons of cases like this of police killing homeless, teens or mentally disabled people because they got sacred. Another example would be when they killed Sammy Yatim in Toronto on that streetcar recently; I actually knew the kid, he went to my school. I've just come to the conclusion policemen are hopeless pussies.

reminds me of the story about the police who raided a house because some one used the address as a "drug drop" & the police shot the family's Labradors as they tried to run away. the owner of the house? the mayor of the town

I blame the people who have failed to convey that if you have no reason to fear police, you don't fear them. Granted, I get a bit antsy around officers, but I don't try to look like I'm guilty of something.

That's my twisted opinion, though.

Sadly, people suffer because some police either aren't properly trained or don't see their job as a vocation.

It's sad but it doesn't shock me. There are a lot of nice people in the force but a lot of them are psychopaths who are just there for the joy of legally having a gun and being able to beat up people for no apparent reason. In Croatia it's known that you don't talk back to police, even in a nice way.

Oh yeah, that happened in my home county. Michael Jackson (the former sheriff, not the deceased singer) is an idiot, and that wasn't the only dog shooting accident that happened under his watch. There was a second incident involving a different family in 2010, where a single dog was shot.

Police should be tested for PED's, because ALOT of them are definitely using them. (super-over bulky like Hulk Hogan and very aggressive)
