Tekkit is the multiplayer version, although with some key differences in the quantity of mods featured, of the famous Technic pack mod for Minecraft. Whilst my laptop can just about run Tekkit, it sure as hell can't host a server. Whilst there are public servers, these are often filled with horrible users who just grief your constructions. I want to play with a group of around 4 other people (so five of us at a maximum) on a Tekkit server that one of these four can hopefully host and each build our own companies that trade with each other. Anyone interested? They must be under 16 (similar age to me) and in the GMT+0 time-zone.

Also, for those of you who do know, is it possible to actually play Tekkit on single-player? I know Technic was designed for single-player, but it runs poorly because of the extra mods that I don't even like.

What now? Tekkit is a mod for Minecraft for those who don't know. There's already an MC thread and we here on the BGSF have our own Tekkit server.
