Under New Management, Slightly Different Bug!

Post » Sun May 20, 2012 12:38 am

Hi All,

Loving the game so far but I think I have hit a bug. Now, I have searched for this but keep coming up with threads about the guild armour bug, which shouldn't affect me as I did upgrade the first time. Apologies if this has come up before.

Spoiler
Anyway, I have completed about 30 mini jobs for Vex and Delvin and also completed 4 of the special quests. The problem is that Brynjolf is always busy. No matter what I do I can't activate the Under New Management.

Also, I have collected all of Delvin's special items, but for some reason I can't sell him the model ship.
The option in the conversation thing just isn't there.

Does anyone know if this is fixable? I don't want to restart, just put in close to 65 hours of play and I really don't want to go through all that again!

P.S:
Spoiler
I have a few merchants now in the guild Red Flaggon but one little den thing is empty, does this mean I'm missing a merchant
, hence why I can't activate the Under New M... Quest?

Thank guys,

Any help would be really errr... helpful :foodndrink:

EDIT: The reason why the quest wasn't kicking in is because I didn't complete 5 mini jobs in Markarth. In case anyone searches for a similar problem and finds this thread I did this:

I checked through my previous completed quests to check how many I did in each city. If there are not done 5 times in each, you need to keep asking for more jobs to get there, then the quest should become active once ALL special jobs are concluded. You can cancel the mini jobs and request a new one until you find the applicable city.

I'm not the only one then! I'm tempted to restart but sods law another bug will crop up and to be honest I don't have the time with family and uni to invest 60 hours again just to complete the a quest. Hopefully Bethesda will fix this in Jan!
