if there is no underwater combat how am I suppose to kill slaughterfish? I don't think beth thought this through..

I've also come to the conclusion Bethesda didn't spend too long thinking about this.

Only suggestion i have, is to lure them into the shallows, and then commence the killing. Other than that, i don't see a way to kill them?

Yeah I'm not crazy on that idea...I guess physically it could be hard to swing a sword underwater with enough force to kill stuff??? I dunno. But I stumbled on that unknowingly. Ooh there's a slaughterfish...swim swim swim .... oh wtf, can't draw my sword!? I ended up waiting on the shore for it to surface and lightning-ed at it.

Also for some strange reason the flame spell can go through water, I just killed a slaughterfish this way..blindly aiming into the water. I think this is a silly way to do this...Don't know why bethesda thought this would fly

Get on land and fry em with lightning?

try dragon shouts or using race powers

I've only seen 3, and I just used the 'spark' spell on them. Was a bit upset when got no 'slaughterfish meat' but, whatever.

Yeah, seems the only way is to lure to the shore line and kill them. Kind of lame though..
