Unfriendly Friends

I've helped Golldir with everything he wants in his main quest, taken him on as a follower, left him to take care of Breezehome with Lydia, and what did I get when I last saw him?

Golldir: What do you want, Imperial?

How very charming! :stare: I mean, I can understand Beth not taking into account the mods that allow me to leave NPCs living wherever I want, but they could've changed their attitudes and lines to something more friendly whenever they see Dragonborn again after I helped them, follower or not. Does anyone else think this is tacky? Kills the realism to a big degree, at least for me.

Well if you just imagine that many people in skyrim are idiots which they are that helps.

That argonian guy at Bee and Barb: "I'm glad we're friends" 5 seconds later: "How dare you show your face around here after what you've done to Keerava?"

Oh yes, the friends that that like you but still insult you.

Two examples are Mjoll the Lioness and Talen Jei,

Mjoll
"A find day to you freind, may you die with a sword in your hand."

5 minutes later after standing next to her.

"What do you want, lizard?"

Talen Jei

"Ours is to smile at your passing friend."

5 seconds later.

"You have some nerve coming back here after what you did to Keerava."

He only says the latter if you went out of your way to make him unfriendly, though. It's not some standard unfriendly/neutral greeting you get from him without any reason. Sure, you did him a solid once, but you're also the thug who showed up one day and threatened his girlfriend's family. It's no wonder he's conflicted.
