I completely uninstalled my ATI drivers, reinstalled them, then reinstalled the fix released today from ATI for Rage. I then updated my profiles for crossfire & enabled Vsync through the catalyst control center. Low and behold my game started working crash free.

The texture issue is almost completely gone, and the game is looking pretty good for me finally.

I have a feeling that the battlefield 3 beta profile I downloaded caused mega problems and crashes for this game, I couldn't even run rage without a crash until I reinstalled the drivers.

I know this wont help everyone, but it seemed to work for me so good luck all.

Well, I know I've got about re-installing a few times, but I'll give it one more go. Can't get any worse I suppose.
