Am I right in assuming the full version of the nightingale blade can't be tempered at a grindstone? It's never showed up for me across all playthroughs, and most websites I've checked (uesp, elderscrolls wiki, etc) acknowledge only pc players can get around this.

A little annoyed my favorite item can't be up to par as the rest of my equipment....
