Uniques 2-Handed Swords

Post » Sat Dec 29, 2012 2:19 pm

so maybe i am missing something but it seems like there is a distinct lack of Unique 2-handed swords in skyrim(vanilla), there's a quite a few unique hammers, some pretty cool unique axes, but only one unique sword?? the ebony blade, whats up with that? the one unique sword we get is tied to a quest that is inherently evil, blocking access for any good aligned character's unless they choose to break immersion. plus im not really too keen on the looks of it, katana's may be cool for some people but i dont really feel like they belong in skyrim

so am i right? is the Ebony Blade the only unique 2-handed sword available in skyrim(vanilla)? are more added in DLC? im a ps3 player so only have access to the base game atm.

EDIT: oops meant to put this is the spoilers section

Akaviri were responsible for the katana like swords.

But yes I believe the Ebony Blade is the only unique 2- h sword. There is a uniquely named sword in Dragonborn called Stormfang but that is really all I can recall right now.

ya i know the history and i dont mind their appearance in the game, but as the only unique 2-handed sword it leave's me feeling a bit disapointed, ah well i guess i just have to stick to enchanting and naming my own swords for now

In Dragonborn, there's also the Bloodskal Blade that can shoot lasers.
