Morning to everyone, also frustated with the purchase of RAGE, putting aside the two weeks of tweaking, nipping and cutting Im at the start of Mission Wasteland Garage , but cant enter, right after I click on E to access the area it gives me this message ".. An unknow error has occurred while accessing your storage device?.." and I dont know if this is because Ive installed it on my primary HD and only have like 7Gygs of free space? or if theres a problem regarding the access to these areas somehow?

It's possible that you've a bad block on your hard disk.

I'm having the same issue... very frustrating! Finally got all of the graphics issues ironed out and now this... I've scanned my HD for errors *twice* now and downloaded RAGE *three* times (approx. 11 hours each time) from Steam. I was able to enter the ghost hideout before I downloaded 11.10 drivers and while the game was still very glitchy but now I get the "unknown error while accessing your storage device" message and am unable to enter the instance. It just puts me back outside... Any help would be greatly appreciated, I'm at my wit's end here....

Try this may help: go into properties of Rage in stream and verify integrity of game cache.
While there also run Defragment cache files.
