Unofficial Bioshock Franchise Thread 2

I wonder, why no visual weapon upgrades or alternate ammo types anymore?
Also there's no U-Invents either which kinda svcks, can't say i was a fan of replacing tonics with gear either.

Yeah, seems to me the gameplay has taken several steps back from Bioshock :meh:

Played a little bit of Bioshock Infinite. Too much Ammo everywhere. I remember fighting for Ammo and relying on a dead drill in Bioshock 2. Now I can fire the pistol like a machine gun with little to no consequences.

How is everyone finding Bioshock Infinite? Is it an improvement other the original two, or more of a step backwards?

I enjoy about as much as the first, maybe a little more.

I finished Vesperia this morning, so after work tonight I'm going to start BioShock Infinite.

How much did they dumb it down?

Well, like i said in the first thread, auto-regenrating shield (but on the other hand you can no longer carry medikits with you), only two guns (but you can pick up ammo for all of them and there's plenty of guns spread around the areas figthing happens), and no more different ammo types.

So, not too bad. And resurrecting now costs money, so it isn't as punishmentless as in the first Bioshock. I did go bankrupt with one of the later game bosses until i gave up and lowered difficulty

Is it enjoyable for someone who never really played the original two?
