Shouldn't it be discussion thread? Or are we discussing the thread itself?

That aside, when does the last movie come out? I'll probably see it when it does, but I'm not all that excited. The seventh and sixth books weren't all that well written (the sixth much more so than the seventh).

WHY IS THIS HAPPENING! Why must it end! WHYYYYYYYYYYYYY

I plan to see the movie, but definetly not on release date. To many infidels that don't know HOW TO SHUTUP! To all you franchiados that talk in the movie.... I loathe you.

Anyways, I think Rowling is either plotting or writing a after series as we speak. I read somewhere that she said" She would think about it," which to me means it will happen eventually. Who knows?

I was pleased with the first installment of HP7, the second half should be entertaining. I want to see Mrs Weasly cut loose on Bellatrix LeStrange.
Rowling left open the possibility for further shenanigans when she wrote the bit about Harry dropping the second hallow in the forest. The hallow from the second Peverell that Voldy turned into a horocrux. As for the movie, it's a good way to spend a few hours in an airconditioned room, It's in the triple digits here, and it's only June.

I don't want to face the reality that this series is completely over. I hope JK Rowling writes so more books in the Harry Potter universe. It doesn't even have to revolve around Harry Potter as the main protagonist, but I fell in love with the world she created... I need more!!

Wow, you guys ever heard of spoiler tags? :stare:

I plan to see the movie, even though I rather dislike the movies as a whole. They deviated too far from the source material in my opinion.

I'm looking forward to it immensely. I read the first book in about 1998 when I was really young and fell in love with the series. Ive got tickets for the first midnight showing.

I've only recently gotten into Harry Potter, which surprised me as I'm not usually into "children's" books. This was in November. I now own all of the books and movies on Blu-Ray, and currently half way through Order of the Phoenix. Looking forward to DHP2 a lot.

^ Saw that this morning. More books please. ^_^

It's already confirmed to NOT be a book, so my interest has dropped off into nothing.

I don't really have any interest either, no matter what it may be, but I am curious what it is.

This, if it's a video game like MMO thing I MIGHT be slightly interested. But that's about the only thing other than a book that might pique my interest.

I never really felt Harry Potter was really all that well written/thought out. Nor did I think the plot was particularly good. It did however get in into other (what I consider better) books, so I am thankful for that.

I don't want the movies to be over - I've already had to deal with the end of the books :sadvaultboy:

I liked the books. But I think they went downhill after 4, I especially hated the last one. Its been a while since I read it, so I dont remember much, but something just pissed me off with it.

I also hated Ron, he didnt do much iirc, and then gets jealous of Harry. I just found him annoying.

Is it wierd that I haven't read the books or saw the movies yet? For some reason I just never got into it. I am shocked because after seeing half the first movie I would like it but just never around to watching it from the begining and watching the rest.

I am shocked to read that book 6 and 7 were not that well written, from what I herd they were the best.

Someone asked if the last movie would stay true to the book. Why would you ask? Didn't you see the 7th movie (part I)? Isn't that true to the book? If it was then Part II should stay true as well.

I can't wait until the last film comes out! It'll be so embarrassing though because I will probably cry the whole time! Especially at the end, not wanting to say anything to spoil it though! My friends and I (and I know this is pretty sad :P) are going to be so lost though lol, no new books to look forward to, no new films....

I loved the hell out of that game when I was younger. Replayed it four times I think, and after I beat the game I would just explore the School Grounds and fly around on Buckbeak.

Wow i sound like one franchiado for saying that last part.

By the way, do hippogryph's hate gingers or something? I recall Ron always getting mauled by them in the game.
