Unofficial "I haven't experienced ANY bugs in Skyrim&#34

Post » Sun May 13, 2012 9:11 am

Reading these forums just blows my mind.
-60 hours so far
-Multiple questlines completed
-Majority of game map explored
-Level 27
-ZERO bugs/glitches found and/or experienced.

I just don't get how so many people are literally foam-mouth raging at bugs yet..i have seen zero. ^_^

What about you? Have you experienced bugs? I have experienced texture bugs, but I resolved it by installing Skyrim on a 120 gig external HD via USB. Fixed it. I don't count that though.

well you're not noticing things or doing them exactly how Beth inteneed , good for you . I had a wierd bug concerning an inventory check on player for an amulet in the butcher;s quest in windhelm ...easy fix as soon as i have the construction editor . but it left me with a "strange amulet " after the quest was over and I went and got it , my collectors ed. book shows it as the nercomancers amulet but my charecter will never know that :(
And the npcs involved acted like I had it ....wtf moment

definitely experiencing lots of bugs. The most annoying of which is when finishing moves don't connect and you see characters stabbing the air while the other falls over dead.

If I don't notice it or it doesn't effect gameplay at ALL..how's it a bug?

And yes, I play the game the way Beth intended. I don't stretch games like TES beyond its limits and rage when I break it. You're ASKING for glitches when you do that.

If you say you haven't experienced one bug, glitch, or crash in 60 hours of playing this game you're a bald-faced liar. End of story.

I have not had any serious issues. The worst I can think of is a few graphical glitches. And I completed a misc Objective but it didnt dissapear from my journal.

I don't remember any bugs per se. I did get stuck once in the mountains very early on, and thankfully had just saved. I also have discovered that Skyrim doesn't like being interrupted any more than Oblivion did. By that I mean, I have a Toshiba Qosimo laptop. My older Toshiba Satellite from 2007 had physical buttons across the top of the keyboard to control volume, the optical drive for music, and so forth. This one's buttons are on the left side and they aren't physical buttons, they're just spots on the surface that if you just barely brush them with the side of your hand, it "presses" that button. Not at all good from a game-player's perspective, I must say, as I regularly brush those pseudo-buttons with the side of my hand.

Well, one of them automatically brings up Windows Media Player in a window. If you're playing a full-screen game it minimizes that full-screen game to a window on the taskbar. For some games, like Supreme Commander II or Sins of a Solar Empire, it's no big deal; I just click the icon on the taskbar, the game gets re-maximized to fullscreen and I wait a few seconds for the game to clear a brainfart, then continue with the game. Oblivion and Skyrim, on the other hand, absolutely cannot handle this and lock up completely, forcing me to close them, start the game again and reload. Not good.

So no real bugs, just (1) one spot where I got stuck in a bluff face, and (2) the software getting cantankerous when switching (inadvertently) to the desktop.

Yeah, I call lies and shenanigans as well. I am breaking my scientific honor by generalizing without testing this, but EVERYBODY has at least seen physics object flying across the room because of character movement. Some of us who are unlucky are killed by flying cauldrons.

I have seen some minor physic bugs like stuff spazzing out for no apparent reason but nothing game breaking really
there's one misc bounty quest I finished but it's still in my quest menu
my 360 froze once or twice
ow and the weirdest (yet harmless) is that sometimes when the game autosaves when going into the inventory/magic/skills/map menu the game stutters for a second and my 360 seems to emit some sort of high pitched beep
not sure what that is really :S

I haven't encounter an bugs as of yet... But maybe I have and haven't noticed. Completed all quests I've attempted. Haven't fallen through the game world. No floating creatures or horses of any kind.

You must just not recognize a bug when you see it.

I'm level 22, played 35 hours and haven't experienced any bugs except for the occasional freezing and frame rate drops.

The only weird physics I've seen is when a fourteen foot giant is able to bat me into the stratosphere...

look for something that's hanging on a rope or something like some of the traps or a cauldron and walk into it repeatedly
it does not act natural and can in fact damage your health

Have you never read a book in skyrim? Notice how you have to choose another category from the inventory list before you can choose another book to read? Yeah, that's still a bug. So if you want to experience a bug, simply read a book.

30 hours

four bugs:

Dragon skeletons clipping and then falling right through the ground, to fall out of the sky later on

one CTD

one play session where NPCs that talked to me lifted one foot, and slowly revolved on their other foot while talking to me

slight teleport of character when the NPC got out of a chair, but I think another NPC was too close for the collision AI so I'm not sure if that really counts

Yeah I'm with you on this one no game breaking bugs or anything for me yet. I'm 50 hours in playing on a 5 month old 320g ps3 slim. Game lagged once when I was invading a town but to be fair there was a ton of [censored] going on during that lol.

I found out how to make all the female NPCs disrobe and bring you mead.

...oh this isn't the "make up complete bull [censored]" thread? Could have fooled me.
