[HELP] Unresponsive Horses : V

Ok, so I was playing on my test character and was wondering around Dawnstar when i happened across some bandits attacking a horse, so I killed them and walked up to it to ride it into town, but when pointed the cursor on it i got not text and when i pressed E to activate it still nothing happened. So I fast traveled to Whiterun and went to the stable. Same thing, no option to even still the horse or cant activate it. So i buy the horse, this time it gives me the text to ride my horse but there is still no activation.

I have the exact same problem. I assumed it was a result of me improperly uninstalling Better Horses, but I didn't use horses often enough to try very hard to fix it.

i have this problem on 2 different saves that have never had BH in their load order. I had used it before but 1.6 killed it for me and i uninstalled it.

Are you using any mod with horse armor? Also, try to deactivate SkyrimSpeed.
