Unrestricted character creation- is there a mod?

Post » Wed May 23, 2012 8:40 am

Hey everyone,

I love Skyrim and think it improved over oblivion in almost every regard, however after plugging almost 200 hours into the game I'm started to get the desire as I had in Oblivion to make some joke characters who look just about as ridiculous as it gets. There's certainly a kind of invigorating irony when you've got this hideously bloated, jaundiced and ugly 'Saviour of the World' to play as.

Oblivion's character creator was awesome in this regard as it allowed us to make serious characters alongside hugely fat khajiiit wo were so dark-furred that you couldn't see them in the shadows. Skyrim's on the other hand only really affords mild levels of stupidity that simply will not do!

My question is- is there already a mod out there that allows all the game's limitations to be removed or in any way improves the character creation for wacky characters?

if there isn't one- experienced modders get to work

Actually Oblivions chargen, while superior to Skyrim's had its flaws as well. If you wanted a bearded Nord/breton for instance, the whole lower body is changes along with the face.

But anyhow, don't think there is one out yet. We compensate with body/face textures. I mean honestly, its like no Nord in Skyrim takes baths -.-.

I think everyone would love a more editable character creator, within races everyone looks a bit too alike at the moment facewise. So maybe a mod like this would be valuable for people going for a more serious custom chargen as well as my own stupid desires like an obese khajiit berserker who only wears boots!

Could have sworn I'd seen a mod called 'bigger sliders' or something...

This gives you the colours:
