Update: the fact that I can't pay of my bounty in markarth results in this guy farkas who's with the compaions. won't stop talking to me and all he ever does does is follow me around and talk to me when I'm in the middle of a fight. I've read that if u pay of all your bountys he won't talk to you because he acts like a guard but hasn't got the ability to arrest you that why he keeps talking to you but the fact that I can't pay of my bounty in markarth make its annoying so yh hope someone does something soon reply if anyone has any ideas or something thanks -

P.s if anyone has any ideas on how I can complete the thieves guild quest I'm doing the ones where you gotta do the small quest of Devon and vex to get a special quest in a certain hold I've done solitude, windhelm and on white run and I believe there's one more which is markarth but obviously as Ive said the guards attack me on site I was wondering if theres a way around the guards to complete my quest

If you have high sneak levels,you can sneak around markarth,if a guard sees you,after talking to him about paying your bounty,just hit circle and back out of the coversation,and sneak away,he'll say something like "allright then" and then lose sight of you.

Or you can take them out one by one by using sneak+bow if they are high level enough.

Or you can stick it on easy difficulty and kill them all in a mass orgy of violence(i like this one)

Or you can just keep popping invisibility potions / spell.

I had read a few times that doing the civil war questline and replacing the markarth guards with stormcloak soldiers can fix the guard glitch,but since every game i start my cw questline breaks i can't confirm or deny that.
