UPDATED - Community dedicated servers not working anymore?

Post » Mon Dec 14, 2015 1:32 am

We wanted to host a Gamenight for the HNT team a week or so with the Dedicated server on Stanchore's other computer.
As soon as we tried to connect to the server, on the loading screen it drops out all clients from the server. We tried a lot of things like restarting the machine, reinstalling Crysis 2 on it, basic level rotation file etc., but none worked out.

So we went into testing and we tried hosting from different machines from our team with no luck at all.

As far as I can see from the log, the server crashes at "Initializing default materials..."
The windows error report contains the following:

Anyone else has experienced this issue who run their own server on their own machine?
Any suggestions from the community on what could cause this or a possible fix maybe?

I have tried contacting Cry-Adam via Crydev, he received the message, but he did not reply unfortunatly.

Yes, having same problem! There are still official and unofficial servers up and running right now, but me and several other people are having the same problem.

Thank you for confirming, now I at least know that we are not the only one.
Can you contact someone from Crytek Milzie? Maybe they'll respond to you, since you are a Community Veteran.
