Using Video Games in School Assignments

Have you ever used a particular school assignment as a platform to talk about video games?

Spoiler
I remember back in highschool, rehashing the Morrowind story "the battle of red mountain" and I got a 75% on it. Worst of all, I had to go up and present it to a class of teenagers. Most of the stoners thought it was cool. All the girls thought I was really dorky though.

In grade 10 or 11 I remember in my history class there was a student teacher marking essays and I wrote an essay about how Himler had a secret lab set up where we he was trying to create something called an "Uber Soldat." I basically took tons of information out of Castle Wolfenstein which I know has brief historical information, but not to the extent of the game.
