Vampire Baldness Glitch

I'm sure this thread has been created numerous times before. If there's an issue with this thread, link me to one of the older ones and I'll bump it. Pick your poison - clone or necro?

If you are unfamiliar with the Vampire Baldness Glitch, this is what happens. If you become a vampire, any thieves guild hood you wear will become invisible and make your character bald. Either you must avoid wearing the Thieves Guild Hood, or you must avoid becoming a vampire. Since stealth and vampirism works pretty well together, this is a pretty hard choice to make. It may not sound like a big deal, but when you spend hours earning the Master Thieves Guild Armor, and you must either sacrifice the hood you worked so hard to get or avoid becoming a vampire (a big part of the game), it's just a game killing issue for me.

The Vampire Baldness Glitch has been around since the games release. I bought Dawnguard thinking, "This DLC is ALL ABOUT vampires, surely they'll fix the vampire baldness gitch." Nope.

I know there are a lot of bugs that need addressed, but can we please focus on this blazingly obvious bug for a moment? We need to make sure Bethesda at least confrims whether they will eventually fix this issue or not. If enough people discuss it, I'm sure it will become higher priority. This issue just doesn't seem like it would be hard for the programmers to fix.

Has Bethesda even acknowledged the existence of this issue? Have they talked about plans to fix it? If so, please let me know.

If you want to see this glitch fixed, just find ways to let Bethesda know how big a deal it is.
