This is going to be an odd request, but... it bothers me that with such a humanoid transformation, your normal "human" traits mutate to fit the generic vampire lord "mold." What I mean is, my Redguard with an afro will suddenly have white-ish hair and a ponytail.

Now, in making this Redguard character, I'd like to have him as close to the physical appearance of the Vampire Lord look as possible, that way when I transform, it doesn't look like I'm someone else entirely. My only problem is, I don't know what hairstyle/color best fits that of a VL (half of my problem is that I've never played a Vampire Lord before, so I can't get a close-up look at just the hair). If anyone could help me out, I'd appreciate it! I just want to know roughly what the closest thing on a Redguard's selection pallet would be. I also want to know if the new barber that game with Dawnguard has different hairstyles than those in character select that might fit better with a VL.

When you transform into a vampire lord, you are changing to a different species, just like the werewolf. So, the hair is natural for a vampire lord. Besides, a vampire lord with an afro would just look weird.

Ha yes a VL with a grey afro would be a bit weird...He would start off terrifying then you see the afro and you just couldnt take him seriously anymore....

And ive kidna gotten over the grey ponytail, I just wish you could purchase or earn the golden bits that Harkon has when he transforms...I would really enjoy that

yeah, Harkon's cloak is really neat.

I think it would be nice if the vampire lord form looked a little like the character. Would make it more immersive.
