My situation is, I just came down with the vampire disease, and I wonder if I should let it happen or not.
Here's some needed info about my character:
Thadious is a level 37 Breton. He is ultimately my one avatar of what I want to accomplish in game. I played thru him once, beating the main quest, but accidentally deleted my X-Box hard drive, and had to start over. This is play thru #2 with some slight adjustments.
Archetype is a Shadow Knight, a dual wielding warrior that utilizes Necromancy to aid him in combat.
While using dark magic, Thadious is ultimately good. He is the mirror image of Khulain, my Oblivion character who was also a Shadow Knight archetype, but became corrupted by power and went to the side of evil.
Thadious masters dark magic's, but uses them for good, learning how to master his powers without becoming consumed by them.
Key skills: One Handed (dual wield), Heavy Armor, Conjuration (necromancy), Enchanting, Illusion, Restoration, Alteration, Smithing.
I feel that Thadious might not knowingly allow himself to become a vampire... Yet at the same time, Thadious would made strong use of his new found form to aid him in his battles.
Using the metagame, it also allows me to experience something I like (vampirism) as well as explore new perk trees and content.
While Thadious might not knowingly allow himself to become a vampire, being one, and using the strengths that come of it would fit right into the narrative - a vampiric necromancer vampire hunter.
