Vampire questline question? CAUTION SPOILERS don't read unle

Post » Sun Nov 18, 2012 9:22 am

So I played through the vampire questline and ended up killing Harkon, keeping Aurials bow and parting ways with serana and thats that. The thing is I thought you could fufill the prophecy and block out the sun in skyrim, which I would have rather done. Was there some choice I was suppose to have made earlier in the questline to take this path that I neglected to notice? If so, this makes me sad.

Talk to Serana, she'll coat eleven arrows with her blood.
Then, all you need to do is shot skyward and boom. Night night sun for the day.

No,on any path Harkon will betray you and you will have to kill him.

Talk to Serana, she'll coat eleven arrows with her blood.
Then, all you need to do is shot skyward and boom. Night night sun for the day.

The effect is minor and lasts a few seconds.

It is quite annoying. I was hoping you could permanently block out the sun like it said in the trailer.
