So I went to whiterun, the dawnguard recruiter talked to me, and then a small group of vampires start laying waste to the city. I've seen this happen 3 times now on my characters. Is this supposed to happen, as in, is this scripted at this time to happen? Or is it just luck that this happens everytime. And will this happen in other cities as well?

It's supposed to be a random encounter.

Oh that's cool. Hasn't happened in any other city yet though. I guess it's just coincidence that it happened 3 times in white run then haha
