Vampires Not Hostile? - Bug

Post » Fri Nov 16, 2012 6:01 am

Three quests deep on the Dawnguard side and Vampires won't attack me unless I attack them. Very lame. Anyone else experience this? Is there a work around?

You would not happen to have read the ten plaques on the path to High Hrothgar recently, would you?
They place a 24 hour effect on you called "Voice of the Sky" when all have been read.

This effect not only makes animals not attack, it has the same effect on vampires.

Oh wow, I did actually. I thought I'd (re)install Dawnguard during Throat of the World/Elder Knowledge so that the story would actually make sense. I can't really tell you for sure right now if this is what's messing up my game as I have uninstalled DG from my Xbox and went back to an earlier save :/. I'll let you know when I back there again. Anyway, thanks for the reply, if you're right about this you just made my day a little better.
