How in any way does glowing eyes affect how loud their footsteps are? I'm not connecting the dots here.

The glowing eyes could be mistaken for glowing insects, they often fly in pairs!

True their eyes do glow in the dark which would make them very easy to detect. But you got to remember we are playing a game. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lHbF9ynGZV0 So there really is no point of trying to add "realism" to sneaking. When the enemies forget about that arrow in the head when you enter sneak mode.

Really? how fast would you detect glowing eyes when approaching you from the side or from the back?

And a master of sneak can vanish by crouching in front of his opponent... stealth was never very realistic in this game.

I wasn't going to pick the Shadow Warrior perk but then I decided to anyways. Besides, I think it's fitting for a Vampire\Assassin to be able to momentarily vanish into thin air only to reappear behind you and slit your throat. All in all I really don't use it that much unless a I plan ahead while staking out a fort or camp.

What I want to know is why should I be able to be just as effective sneaking up on a vampire (or a Khajiit for that matter) than a mortal as they can both see well in the dark?

It's just about as realistic as a chick with fangs and glowing eyes working as a court mage to the High King of Skyrim. It's Bethesda, if you don't like it - mod it.

Also vampires are supposed to be good at stalking and stuff.

If you really wanted a realistic stalking situation with vampires then you expect too much lol.

That would involves climbing trees and stuff.
Vampires are typically seen as stealthy.

Didn't even need to click the link to know what was coming up there. I laughed my ass off when I first saw it and the pickpocket one.

Back onto the topic at hand, I do believe vampires have eyelids. One closing of the eyelids and BOOM! No more glowing eye problem.

Or they should remove those pointless eyes to begin with, and give us back the cool eyes we had before.

I wouldn't mind the original eyes back but if they had a *slight* glow effect when in the dark that would rock
