I started DG today, loving it so far. I sided with the vampires obviously, got Harkon to explain everything about being a Vampire Lord, and he told me to speak to Garan Marethi. I reverted back into a High Elf and went to find him, but whenever I try to speak with him he simply tells me I shouldn't be running around the castle as a mortal. All the other vampires give me similar replies, acting as if I'm mortal and threw away my gift and that I should hope that Harkon will be gracious enough to turn me into a vampire again.

So I figured, maybe I need to be in VL form to talk to the guy, but when I transformed everyone attacked me. Harkon still treats me as a vampire though, giving me the option to have him explain everything again and everything.

I'm assuming this is a bug or a glitch because I don't know what went wrong. Does anyone have any idea on how to fix this? I really want to continue the quest.

Attacking you when you are in VL form is normal, perhaps you need to get rid of some mods to overcome the other problem.

it's a bug, i got attacked aswell, i loaded a previous save.
