so ive been through the vault and by the entrance theres a terminal with a holodisk thing and they say there the only ones and theres 5 peolpe and then 4 gun shoots and then a guy make this noise and then it ends is he the only surviour or did he kill himself?

All I know about the Vault is that the people voted for overseers and one overseer candidate had a sacrificial chamber and if the other candidate didn't sacrifice themself, the whole population of the Vault would be killed by robots, so the other candidate didn't accept so there were 5 survivors and what is left over is 4 skeletons and a gun, that shows that the 5th person didn't commit suicide but he killed the other 4 survivors and left the Vault.

No bark noonan is the chosen one? That's a pretty crazy theory, but it's somewhat plausible now that you mention it.
But yeah, there's a survivor to Vault 11, no one knows exactly who.
Also, the reason they killed themselves is because they found out that the whole time they would not have actually been killed by the mainframe, that refusing to sacrifice actually freed them.


It's down the hall, you have to find the assembly hall, on the podium there's a speech, picking it up gives you the password.

The voice on the tape is obviously the same voice actor that does No Bark. I like to think that it is him. It's also the guy that voices Easy Pete, but he doesn't seem as likely a candidate.

I dont think they knew the vault would not kill them. They didnt commit suicide, one of them started shooting and they all fired. One survived.

If you listen to the recordings from the mainframe at the end, you'll see that they definitely knew. The computer explicitly told them. That's the whole point of the recording you find at the beginning.

Well, I don't know if it was his point, but they didn't know until they decided they weren't going to sacrifice. They were ready to die- but they weren't going to send someone to die anymore.

When they found out they didn't ever have to sacrifice, they were so horrified- they considered themselves unfit to live.
So they decided to commit suicide. And yes, they did commit suicide- they told the last guy to shoot them because there was only one gun among them at the time.
The last guy was supposed to then kill himself, but instead he dropped the gun and ran.

To be honest, what I think happened was that they all agreed to kill themselves. One decided that it wasn't the course of action he would like to take, but by then the person assigned to killing them all started shooting. Before the survivor got shot, He shot the assigned shooter and left. (Leaving the other 4 and the gun the assigned shooter was using in the vault, but kept whatever weapon he used to kill the assigned shooter.)
