One day I randomly decided to play Skyrim, a legitimate copy, I have the case and product code to prove it, and my save woulld go in an infinity loop.
Details:
Loading ANY saves causes a infinite loop and the loading screen just shows smoke(the smoke you get before it shows a picture and states some random fact about Skyrim)
Deleting saves ingame does nothing. They'll register in the menu as deleted but when I renenter the menu they appear again(This has been tested ingame. Outside on the main menu it boldens the load and makes New Game the only choice. However this isnt always the case )
Upon further investigation it seems all my saves are going in a folder called 1, or simply in the Documents/MyGames/Skyrim directory. Sometimes both.
Disabling all mods does nothing.
Graphic settings havent changed
Save file size ISNT the concern because I managed to delete my old saves from the Mygames/skyrim directory as well as the "1" folder.
Basically repeated on my new saves. Save. Load. Infinite loop.
I use windows 8.
Had an update recently.
I figure its because my save path isnt configured correctly but I cant seem to find where to edit that in any of the ini's
My pc had run skyrim extremely well a day prior.
Trying to reinstall now on a very limited internet connection
If anyone knows a fix, or how to configure save paths, please help me. I finally have time to sit down and play skyrim(with over 70 mods, a smooth game and NO incompatibilities believe it or not)
