I have a character who has completed a lot of missions. One of the things I do with him is make sure that he never has a bounty and he has never spent a single second in jail.

That's how I want to keep things. If I look at the stats screen and at 'Crime' and if he was to have any bounty then I load up an older save to before any bounty was picked up.

I am doing the Dark Brotherhood mission where you go to Solitude posing as The Gourmet. The problem I am having is that when I go along the bridge and the 3 Imperials approach me, and the guy says "I know you are with The Dark Brotherhood, blah de blah", then I get a bounty of 1500 immediately put on my character.

I cannot complete this mission without having a bounty put on my character. I like the stat saying Lifetime bounty = 0

Anyone know a way to complete this mission without a bounty being added? I can't and it's very frustrating.

You cannot complete the quest and not get a bounty.

You either get the bounty, or don't do the quest.
