Ted.com is an interesting site. It's full of 15~20 minute presentations on a veritable multitude of subjects like physics, environment, society, etc...

Really, the thing I hate about Reddit, is they think they invented all reaction memes and all stories originate there first. And ragecomics are hideously unfunny.

But yeah, TVTropes.org and Cracked.com are two of my ten most visited sites. But there's also http://www.dorkly.com/ and, for more specific parts of the Cheezburger Network, http://thedailywh.at/ and its nerdy, socially awkward brother http://geeks.thedailywh.at/

Avoid big sub-reddits like gaming or atheism if you don't like memes and ragecomics.

Alright i'll just say it. Thery're website is hideous. It's painful to navigate and you have to scroll a billion times to find 1 sub forum. And *gasp* most of the content is straight from Fourchan. Which I would rather browse instead.

What are you talking about? Just edit the url if you want a specific sub-reddit. You've apparently never spent more than an hour on the site, if you had, you wouldn't be saying it's painful to navigate.
Also, what do you mean by content? Images with stupid captions on them?

you're wrong fyi
Care to elaborate?
