My very own Elder Scroll

Post » Fri Dec 16, 2011 8:38 pm

So I've completed the main quest, I've also completed the quest for Septimus Signus and I've been left with an Elder Scroll in my inventory that weighs 20 pound, can't seem to store/drop it as it states that it's a quest item?

Anybody else experienced this?

You can sell it at the College of Winterhold, to the librarian.

You cant drop it, but if you have no further use for it you can sell it to the librarian at the College of Winterhold.
But why sell an actual Elder Scroll?

Quest items don't actually weigh anything, they just say they do.

Quest items do not add weight to your inventory. They are weightless specifically because they are stuck in your inventory and it'd be unfair to burden the player with inventory weight they can't remove.

It doesn't weigh nothing. It only says 20 pounds.
I've already tested it. I removed all of my non-quest items of my inventory.

I kept mine in the event that I might need to blind myself for no reason.

Nah, but my character believes that it may be an integral part of apotheosizing, which is his ultimate goal.
