Very worried about my order... : V - Skyrim

I've just had this E-mail from Amazon after phoning them this morning.

I’ve checked your order and we’re still waiting for the following item(s) to be delivered to us by our supplier 10 Nov 2011.

We still expect to deliver your order by the date listed in Your Account: 11 Nov 2011 .

Once your order is sent you'll receive an e-mail confirming the date, contents and method of delivery.

If you don’t get your e-mail confirmation by 11 Nov 2011 please let us know by replying to this e-mail and we’ll investigate.

Now I'm worried they don't even have it to send :shakehead:

Slapping sense into myself, there a big company they couldn't be that dum. Still going to be obsessively refresh my account page though........

I'm seriously considering it. I shouted it at someone at work the other day. I then had to spend ten minutes explaining what Fus Roh Dah was.

Anyone who receive the game before Friday won't be able to play it anyway so I don't think you should worry too much. Most games are being dispatched today or the latest tomorrow. In Amazon's case they sometimes don't update the status too well so unless Friday comes and you still don't have it then is the time to panic.

The PC version has to be unlocked by Steam online and you won't be able to do that before Friday.

That's for PC users because it takes Steam to unlock it and that won't be available till midnight (as soon as it's 11.11.11)

If your playing on console you'll be fine to play early

I'm in the U.S. and ordered from Amazon, and mine hasn't shipped yet either. I'm concerned too. Glad I'm not the only one though.

If it doesn't ship by noon today, I'm calling them.

If you bought from Amazon, it will not be shipped until Thursday here in the US. FYI.

Especially if you've had the damn preorder since June or so. Its a bit lose lose now though since even Game probably won't get you it on time if you order now. And Steam won't get you the map, manual etc. And if you go into Game the cost is about a tenner more than ordering online.

Especially if you've had the damn preorder since June or so. Its a bit lose lose now though since even Game probably won't get you it on time if you order now. And Steam won't get you the map, manual etc. And if you go into Game the cost is about a tenner more than ordering online.

It is possible friday and saturday and sunday have the game in stock still

Oh yeah they'll likely get you it for Saturday but I'm not sure about Friday...hopefully though.

I only preordered with Game yesterday and got a shipped email by 6pm yesterday. So you never know.

I dont pre-order anything, as I do the weekly shop on Fridays I'll just trot along to Game or whatever and buy a copy, I may get round to installing it during the weekend but if I don't then no biggy.

Wouldn't be the first time a game has sat next to the PS3 for a week or so after purchase, before getting installed.

Bah broke down and cancelled my Amazon order and ordered on Steam - may of been more expensive by ￡5 and not have a map but at least i know that as soon as i wake up on Friday morning i can jump straight into the game instead of waiting till nearly 11 for my postie (thats even if it had arrivred on Friday).

I just canceled my Amazon order and purchased it off Steam. Pre-loading it now. Bugger getting worried about if it'll arrive or not now

Canceled mine too, wasn't willing to wait on them any longer.

Getting it from HMV in town now.

That's how it always is when I order from Amazon (30+ games and counting). It is shipped the day before the release day and is delivered on release day. Works for me.

Mine isn't dispatching soon yet, also on Amazon UK. Oh well, it's the price of paying less 15€ than the local (and steam's) rip off price.

When I pre-ordered Battlefield 3 from Amazon it shipped Monday night and arrived Tuesday night. I would have probably received it earlier if I didn't live in this small town, it was definitely at the UPS office Monday morning.
