Ive seen alot of people suggesting loyalty system etc. Looks like we got it coming!

Its alternate advancement at the endgame, awesome if asked from me, hopefully its account-wide though.

Atropos should have asked what we actually can do with those veteran points.
unlock skill lines?
gain skillpoints?
buy gear?
Now my sadness for not being able to get in beta test had only increased
As I understood it, there is no shop of any kind that lets you turn in veteran points for armor or something like that. Veteran points or ranks are not another currency, they are more like your normal exp / character level. When you reach a certain veteran rank, you can equip new gear for example, but you don't acquire it via veteran points - you still have to craft / find veteran gear.
It's like Character Level 2.0, I think. Which doesn't make much sense to me because they could've just increased the level cap, but whatever.
I don't think that you need veteran points to equip gear, would be a really bad concept ones you earned enough allience points to buy it or finnished a master dungeon you should be able to wear the gear you earned.
It could be something like in GW2 where you can gain more exp ones you hit level 80 and each time you level up you gain a skill point.
