I read that the Vicky and Vance casino reopens after you find a new sherrif for the town, I did this but no one seems to be inside the place. Am I doing something wrong or is there someone I have to talk to first for this to happen?

Wait 3-5 days outside of Primm and the Casino will open for business.

I have a question about the gun in the gun case. Has anyone found it or is it supposed to be missing?

It's part of a quest.

I've gone off and done a whole lot of other stuff before coming back and it still wasn't open. At lease I mean there was no one inside to buy chips from or anything.



Btw, anyone know what the update did this morning?

I talked the robot into being sherriff and then I've gone off and did some exploring... I'm pretty sure it was close to a week in game time and it's still not open for me either. Maybe I'll try just waiting for 24 hours straight 5 consecutive times and try again. Otherwise, I may try and find a different Sheriff.

i made NCR to take over primm and have played for at least 4 weeks ingame time but it hasnt reopended?

Is it a bug or something?

My character that helped the NCR take over Primm got ambushed by some NCR deserter in the casino, and her band of mercs. Never opened for me either.

I found a new Sheriff and then I had to "Evict" some NCR deserters (Some days later) and now I can play all I like there (Yet some days later). Until I bust the house

same problem as others... i did the misson to find primm a new sheriff. i used the ex-sheriff guy (Meyers) who was at ncrcf. got him to go to primm, talked to ncr to give him a pardon, then spoke with Meyers again. he is now sheriff and stays in primm. mission completed. i have waited outside of Primm for several days.... yet the Vicky and Vance will NOT open. i have done other quests and all that... gone back to primm and V&V is always empty (just the robot in there).
whats going on here? why wont the slots and all that open?

oh.. there are no powder gangers in primm. i killed them all. checked the other buildings too.

any suggestions or tips as to why V&V wont open????

My first play through it did not reopen for me and I made the robot the sheriff

My second play through I waited 5 days, went in - killed the deserters, monkeyed around stealing everything from there I could, then waited 5 more days. After the second wait, it was open. Although I got kicked out and banned from the place only after winning 2500 chips at black jack. That was disappointing because I thought the limit was supposed to be 9k.

so idk.

edit: second time, I made Meyers sheriff.

thanks for the reply. maybe ill try waiting for a few more days. ive already ran into the deserters. i talked them into leaving. but its been around 4 or 5 in-game days since, and like i said, V&V still wont open.
so ill try waiting longer.

does it matter if you wait somewhere in primm? or does it have to be outside of primm? ive read mixed results.
