2 video cards worse than one?

Post » Mon May 03, 2010 7:44 pm

these are minimum requirements for video cards for crysis 2: Video Cards: NVidia 8800GT with 512 MB RAM, ATI 3850HD with 512 MB RAM, or better.

Why does it not state that 2x is not supported of xfire or sli? I dont know who else feels like this game sale was misleading but i sure do. Its frustrating when you buy a product that isnt finished. I just dont understand how when i played the demo i had no issues. But now when i bought the full game skyline mp map makes my eyes burn. The outside blur/glare effect is somehow f!$#% up. im rockin 2x radion hd 5770's. And if i disable one my fps drops below playable. Just wondering if we would find out if when you guys are gana fix this issue or reprint your boxes to not be so misleading.

Every consumer has the legal right to receive truthful information about any products or services they wish to purchase without being deceived or misled by advertisers. Under federal and state laws, making false, misleading, and/or deceptive claims about the quality, nature, price, or purpose of any products or services is illegal.

Honestly, crysis 2's graphics are so lame, it really doesn't need a dual graphic card set-up. Any modern age budget graphics card can run it.
But to answer your question, yes one graphic card > two, since crytek is living in the past and forgot about proper coding, sli/crossfire's glitched to hell.

Install RadeonPro and set a profile for Crysis 2 to use the Bioshock profile. Works great for me.

hey tool shed read the post i read the others and watched the videos. My issue isnt the same i dont have SHADOW FLICKERING effects i just have real bright glare effects. So i figured to see if its just because of the STYLE of cards im runnin if someone has same set up with same effect. Its only a few maps and single player is so slow didnt notice it in the 10 minutes i played it.
Maybe read posts before you say REPORT this. Different effect same issue
