Title says it all my friends. I'm very anol about my games. I have two that are pre owned (I generally buy new) and it bugs me up the wall. How does one go about removing them easily without ripping/stretching the soft plastic?

Steam works well because it loosens the adhesive glue.

How does one create steam in such a way that I could harness it and use it against these vile stickers like a weapon?

Cast "Fireball" onto the nearest well or lake.

Remove most of the sticker as best you can by simply pulling it off as usual. Then you can remove all of the remaining adhesive and paper by lightly soaking a paper towel in paint thinner and vigorously rubbing it over and around the sticker's edges. The paint thinner will do an excellent job of counteracting the kind of adhesive they use to put the sticker on the box, so you shouldn't have anything left. Just don't use too much paint thinner, or the odor will take longer than usual to fade away.

I've done this a dozen times. Your satisfaction is 110% guaranteed.

Do what they said or buy new cases. This is what I generally do.
