"A Dwemer said, 'We Dwemer are only aspirants to this that the Velothi have. They shall be our doom in this and the eight known worlds, NIRN, LHKAN, RKHET, THENDR, KYNRT, AKHAT, MHARA, and JHUNAL.' The secret to doom is within this Sermon."

"At which he stabbed the heart of the City-Face with the Ethos Knife, which is to say RKHT AI AE ALTADOON AI, the short blade of proper commerce. "

"Leading the armies of the Chimer was the slave that would not perish, the Hortator Nerevar, who had traded his axe for the Ethos Knife. He slew Dumac at Red Mountain and saw the heart bone for the first time. "

"On the ritual of occasions, which comes to us from the days of the cave glow, I can say nothing more than to loosen your equation of moods to lunar currency."

"equation of moods to lunar currency"

"proper commerce"

"RKHET"

What.

Is this a quote from a book? Did you make this up? What are you trying to tell us?

Who are you, are you a dev or ex-dev in disguise?

I think it's pretty clear that Ethos Knife is a euphemism for male genetalia. Stabbing at the heart is the emotional toil of using the Nerevar's [censored] on other people, so to stab at first Ms. City-Face (who is clearly a prosttute because he has to pay for it) with his short blade, then to emotionally slay Dumac (aka Du Mackin') in the redlight district of the mountain, it means that he's on a sixual tour of the countryside.

The ritual mentioned is the mating ritual, and loosening the equation of moods is the method of getting to the next base. If you're using your moon currency, you can skip the loosening equation.

Despite Vivec's reputation, you have not misinterpreted this properly. An entertaining surjection, though.

Are you sure?

I mean, we have the eight players right there listed. Nirn Burn, Lorkhamdjob, Rkhett Buttler, Thendor, Kynareth Mi, Arkhey!, Mara Mammaries, and Jhulianos. All porm names.

Shades:

Sometimes it's just a cigar.

Kama Fyr:

An equation of moods, is a state of mind.

"The echo of the Void is Oblivion. The echo of Oblivion is now mortal death. Death results in reappropriation of spirit towards its aligned AE—either to the god-planet Aedra or the Principalities of Oblivion. Vehk’s name for this transaction, mentioned above, is “lunar currency”. " - http://www.imperial-library.info/obscure_text/5th_era_loveletter.shtml

Lunar currency is described as the transfer of souls between live and their afterlife, in otherwords dead.

The sentence is addressed to Nerevar/Nerevarine, he is telling you that he will you kill you. Your state of mind becomes dead. Which is http://www.imperial-library.info/interviews/vivec.shtml.

---

The second phrase is part from a Sermon where Vivec teaches the grabbers who have never made a city make one properly. It's the resolve of a confrontation between Vivec and the monster created by the grabbers.

At which he stabbed the heart of the City-Face with the Ethos Knife, which is to say RKHT AI AE ALTADOON AI, the short blade of proper commerce.

I don't know what proper commerce is but it seems to be essential in creating a proper city, so I guess it's that bit of magic that makes a city feel real rather then simply a collection of vendors.

---

NIRN, LHKAN, RKHET, THENDR, KYNRT, AKHAT, MHARA,

Nirn, Lorkhan, Arkay, Stendar Kynareth, Akathosh, Mara.

God talk for "this is a metaphor, treat it as one". This is likely not a dev, but a right-handed love giver.

Not sure what AI is, but this seems to be instructions to the Nerevarine (as proweler said) to approach Dagoth Ur. Or for Lorkhan to befriend the 8 http://www.imperial-library.info/mwbooks/sithis.shtml and kill them. For Nirn to fulfill its twofold purpose as god killer and god maker. The Lunar currency is blood (killing) and blood (creating)? Of course I have missed somethings, I need to misinterpret this metaphor more, later.

ive read that the Ethos Knife is Keening. the mention of Arkay in its Ehlnofex name (arkay is and weapon is) makes me infer that the "proper commerce" is really just death: the exchange of souls between nirn and the dreamsleave (and eventually back to nirn). proper commerce is carried out with lunar(lorkhan-ic) currency, heh.

@OP: its really more helpful to ask an actual question instead of quote parts from the sermons...

Yes, a question is more useful, thank you.
Death is the weapon to betray gods and consecrate the mundus in their blood, apotheosis?

Then ask your question.

How much wood could a woodchuck V'Vehk chuck if a woodchuck V'vehk could chuck wood (which he can)?

Anyways, I was asking you what your OP meant, as currently its just a bunch of unconnected quotes from the Sermons.

I'm asking the question...

I'll be better about it, Arkay and his cycle of mortality is the weapon, the weapon killed gods. Sithis speaks of Lorkhan coming to the Aedra as one who is ready to betray and murder. You cannot murder without mortality, Arkay, a weapon. Mortality is the weapon to come to the Aedra with. The murder is however, one part of the cycle, there is the life that comes of it too (the death of one kalpa is life for the next, the symbolic scarab). I'm asking if that life is a metaphor for CHIM. I have no idea what the op wants, I'd like to know. Maybe I don't.

Kama: you're saying that the unrelated quotes you provided are lies

attempts at being cryptic went out of style back in 03.

Jack:
Not quite. Sithis is more of an alternate explanation about how Lorkhan came to create the mortal world (thereby 'murdering' the divines by limiting them, where before they were limitless). Arkay is one of them. CHIM transcends all this.
