Just heard from the Total war Facebook page, all Hack and Slash fans should BUY THIS, no seriously, this game is really good i played 50 hours of it on console and still play from time to time.

I guess i'll give a brief overview, you muster a bunch of badass vikings and go kill zombie vikings while calling in Dragon air strikes and fight in massive sieges to stealthy operations, and you need to find supplies and liberate various areas, and ITS FREEROAM!!!

Huh, I remember playing this game a few years ago back when I owned a PS3, don't remember much about it, but I can't say I enjoyed it too much. I recall the combat being fun but don't remember much else, I'm suprised their making a PC port since I don't recall it being too popular, maybe I'll give it another shot when it come's to PC though.

it's one of those games that have great potential but doesn't live up to that potential. Obviously you love it besides the fact just like i loved the first Way of the Samurai when most people didn't like it....to each their own

last time i was in gamestop i seen it for $5 and there were older games worth 2-3 times that so that speaks volumes about the game

The game was...okay.

You could say that, it had...rough edges...but in my opinion it was a great.

I enjoyed this game very much. One of those guilty pleasure, mindless hack & slash games. Surprised its just coming to PC, wasn't this released like 5 years ago?

Given its price now? I would say it is definitely worth the price. The thing is though, it is bland in terms of story and setting. It is a fun hack and slash game but I dont think i even remotely cared about giving it another playthrough. If I had to rate it? 7.5/10. Slightly better than average but nothing you really need to play. This game went firmly under nearly everyone's radar. It didn't get the attention it deserved but there also was some good reasons for it not being very popular. I don not honestly remember much about it anymore. Yet I can remember where nearly everything is in FFX and Oblivion down to smallest detail. This game just didn't standout. It was an average game. At least it wasn't terrible. I didn't regret paying full price for it in anycase.

I bought this for my older brother because he likes QTEs and console games. I wanted to like it, but... alas.

Aww. I didn't mean to hurt your feelings. The first stream of posts did such a job unravelling the original sense of enthusiasm around this topic, that the result just seemed funny to me. I had no idea my post would bother you that much.

OT: The game does look somewhat interesting, but its supposed repetiveness kind of scares me away. I just don't think it could hold my attention for very long.

Every fight with an enemy the game was like flashing "B" "A" "YYYYYYYY" "RT" all over the screen.
