Vingalmo gives me the quest 'The Gift', where you are to turn your spouse into a vampire, however, he insists my character is married to Temba Wide-Arms. My character is married to Lydia, for easy access to her store feature, but Vingalmo refuses to recognize the union. My character has actually not spoken to Temba in this play through. Any thoughts? Thank you.

Go and see if you can infect Temba?

Yes, I went and was able to complete the quest with Temba, but the only one that seems to recognize us as married is Vingalmo. Temba does not even show the spousal dialogue options when I speak to her. The whole thing was very anti-climatic.

Are you on PC, and if so, do you use mods?

if you're on PC and dont use mods, make your own wife who starts off as a vampire!

Yeah. I had thought about that as well so I had uninstalled the mods to see if that changed anything. It did not, but maybe my game is corrupted and only a reinstall will clean it up.
