Vlad the Impaler build

I'm thinking of making an Imperial Prince from the Colovian highlands and calling him Vladus Draculor. I was thinking of role playing him as the great...grandson of Janus Hassildor, the vampire Count of Skingrad in Cyrodiil (Oblivion).

The real Vlad was supposedly a patriot and great warlord but also and evil and terrifying racist who impaled his enemies on large spikes

(Vlad's enemies were Turks so Dunmer would have been the ideal race here due to their various Turkic & Mongolian influences but the present TES lore doesn't support this so it make sense to be Aldmeri - Altmer & Bosmer he impaled - During the great war)

Heavy Armor (Ebony - don't want Daedric as want to keep him looking realistic)
shame I can't have a burgundy cape.

One-handed (sword & mace)
Block (shield)
Smithing (heavy Armor)
Enchanting
Destruction (fireballs or ice spikes)
Restoration
Illusion (muffle & invisible)

He'll have to be a creature of the night as being a vampire is a must. Hopefully the new dlc will have day-walker perk for a vampire.

You should wear the fine clothes with the fur, it seems more his style even though it means no armor. Definitely go kill alik'r and take his curved sword as thats closest to his style blade but no shield...unfortunately theres no spears to impale your victims on but you can still pull off a decent vlad

This is how I'm kinda envisioning him. Notice the black armor under the red robes. Obviously I won't have the red robes over the top.

Its a shame they haven't got the Colovian helmet / hat from Morrowind

Just to say Vlad the Impaler's Sword in Assassin's Creed Revelations looks JUST like an Orcish sword...even though in the multiplayer he uses a mace

This is some fantasy character, right? Not actually based on Vlad Tepes?

The historical Vlad the Impaler is believed to have been the victim of horrific torture and pedophilia during the 3 years he was a captive of the Turks when he was a child. Supposedly the reason behind his perverse sadism. I can't think how that would be fun to role play. :P
