VLCMplayer.mkv Help

Post » Mon May 14, 2012 1:18 am

:ahhh:

I need help.

My sister sent me a DVD full of .mkvs but for some reason whenever I open them in VLC, they play fine for about a minute... then VLC suddenly decides to replay the file from the beginning again, but this time without sound.

If you know how to fix this, please tell me.

If no one knows how to fix the VLC problem, I'd appreciate it if someone could point out which of the files on the http://www.mplayerhq.hu/design7/dload.html I'm supposed to download. It's a bit (okay, a lot) confusing for me.

Or if there are any other free .mkv players out there that are reliable, let me know.

Thanks.

A friend told me to try Allplayer. It solves the silent repeats problem, but introduces a new one: it won't show subtitles. :ahhh: Anyone re: the OP... ?

Dunno why, VLC is pretty bad. I use smplayer2 and MPC-HC/madVR.
