Voice Chat - The World Cheapest Form Of Multiplayer For Skyr

Post » Fri Jun 22, 2012 7:30 pm

It would comprise of people playing Skyrim using theirs mics chatting about their exploits in the world and also they could help with side and main quests for those who are new to the game it is not the greatest idea ever but you never know what is until you try

I think Xbox players can already do this in Cross game chat or whatever.

A lot of people playing on PC already do this, chatting with our friends on Steam with text or voice chat as we play.

I don't see the point of any type of multiplayer at all, not every game ever devised needs it.

Most of what I talk about here are my friends friend crazy outlandish ideas but what this one is referring to is his mmo idea for skyrim in response to the elder scrolls mmo P.S. His bedroom is modeled after the Breezehome sorta minus the fire pit

I just don't see the point in talking to anybody as I am roleplaying my character but hey that's just me I guess.

The only multiplayer I could ever see happening is Fable's Orb system. And even then, it'd have to only show friends. I don't want millions of orbs ruining my experience, or kids spamming the mic like in Fable. Best keep in Singleplayer.

That was horrible. You'd have some five year old yelling about his game or spamming music in the mic. Both Fable II and Fable III were set to see only orbs from your friends list by default.

Or... just post about your adventures here on the forum? I can't see ruining what little immersion this game offers by yacking with a bunch of nerds while I play. (I already do that on Urban Terror)

You want Bethesda to integrate voice chat into a single player game?

I'd seriously rather they spend time on the game itself...
